The Verythin Classic was developed to offer an uprated luxury version of the Standard model.

Like its brother it has an ultra slim body at just 1.25" making it lightweight and comfortable to play. The body has a spruce top while the back and sides are in flame maple, inside there is a solid spruce centre block. The slim modern 22 fret neck is very easy to play. The Classic model features "cats eye" sound holes, gold hardware including a Höfner Lyre tailpiece. It is fitted with NOwaxx humbucking pickups, handmade in Bavaria exclusively for Höfner, which deliver a strong, even and gutsy tone suitable for everything from jazz to heavy rock, these are connected to twin volume and tone controls. This world class guitar is finished in Höfner Blond clear coat lacquer for a beautiful finish and stunning good looks.
